The big-skyline shot

The actor stays the same size in every frame because the camera moves back as the lens gets longer; "compression" really comes from that camera distance, and the lens decides how far back you stand. Model: full-frame sensor (36 × 24 mm), pinhole projection. The actor is 1.8 m tall and fills 60% of the frame height; buildings start 30 m behind the actor. In Face view the head fills 60% of the frame height.
