Filmmaking, Acting & Directing Coach
Christopher Liebe is a highly sought after filmmaking mentor and acting teacher. He is the Founder of the Hollywood Film Lab program and has been sharing his extensive filmmaking, directing & acting knowledge around the world, from Europe, Mexico and across the USA, for over two decades.
Through the Hollywood Film Lab, he has taught hundreds of young filmmakers the art of making movies. Graduates of his courses have gone on to win numerous awards at film festivals all over the world.
Christopher teaches the Meisner Acting Technique at one of Los Angeles’ premiere acting schools, Playhouse West.
He is award-winning producer, cinematographer and actor, a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a B.F.A. in Theater. He studied for many years under Robert Carnegie at Playhouse West in Los Angeles – alongside many top actors including Scott Caan and James Franco. He has been mentored by such talents as Jeff Goldblum and learned on set from Academy Award-winning cinematographer Conrad L. Hall. He regularly attends world-class workshops and trainings. He has been fortunate to learn under such greats as Shane Hurlbut, Paul Cameron, Vincent LaForet, Alex Buono and many others. He has directed Film Projects in collaboration with fellow Playhouse West Members, such as Mark Pellegrino ('Supernatural', 'Lost', & '13 Reasons Why') and Dave Franco ('Now You See Me', 'Neighbors' & '21 Jump Street').
Christopher has received Aputure Lighting Certification, from Aputure, completed REDucation through RED Digital Cinema, a member of SAG/AFTRA and a lifetime member of the Digital Cinema Society.

Film Festival Achievements
Most graduates of the Hollywood Film Lab had never made a film prior to taking the course. Many of our students have gone on to create projects that have become 'Official Selections' or won awards at film festivals around the world. Most of their projects were either made during the course or soon after graduating.
